The views of the falls directly in front of you are EPIC! Super short walk from the parking lot, where a NW Forest Pass is required for parking. So buy in advance!
There are two ways to get down to the plunge. We walked along the bridge and then scurried down. It’s a little steep, roughly equivalent to a “moderate” hike. Recommendation is to scoot down on your butt during steep parts.
But once you get down there, you’ll have some rocks to put your backpack on before getting in the water.
The rocks are a bit slippery getting into the water but you can find your way to a nice seated position (no swimming required) and experience the cold with the roar of a waterfall!
