Overview
Required
This is a lovely plunge after a short hike. The water has some rapids here and there but has areas of slower flow and shallow pooling, perfect for laying/crouching in cold flowing water. The hike itself takes you right past the Tumalo Falls viewpoint, where you continue walking along the marked trail until you reach the first “Water Access” sign. Note: The final 2 miles of road are unpaved but well kept. If driving in the winter, expect snow. Pro Tip: There are many “Water Access” signs so you can continue walking along the trail if the first “Water Access” area isn’t exactly what you’re looking for.
